Thanks for the reply.? That is good to know.? I did see in the FT950 manual that it was advised to run it at 1/3 to 1/2 power if making long digital mode transmissions.??? My FT450AT handled it like that fine for 2 1/2 years, then it didn't.

I ran my FT-950 almost every day like that for 7 years. Never had
a problem. sstv, ezpal, rrty, you name it, I ran it.
